Kits and Parts
The
parts are cheaper at DigiKey and Mouser, since it just costs money to carry parts. We're
in the board business, not the parts business. To be helpful, we show the part numbers,
and link to them if possible with a simple link.
We have one-stop shopping, which is an advantage to buying
the kits from us. Watch your shipping costs.
Combinations
Kits, parts, boards,
connectors – what combinations to provide, without getting too
complicated.
Settled on:
- Assembled boards
- Blank board.
- Entire kit, including blank board.
- Individual parts.
The entire kit works well as
a link from the assembled board, and gives an equal comparison,
without having to explain exceptions.
The –nc (no connector) boards have their own kit, which is nice and
symmetrical, and avoids having to break up the kit just to get rid of the
connectors.
